Andrew Butterly designs and makes unique and beautiful contemporary furniture in his studio in North Somerset, just west of Bristol.

His aim is to produce inspired furniture which meets your individual requirements to the highest standard.

"Having gained an honours degree at the London School of Economics I worked for 19 years as a Probation Officer.

introduction

The service I provide

"I specialise in tables, bookshelves and cabinets using sustainable English, European and North American hardwood timber and veneers. In accordance with my ethical principals all timber is FSC certified. I try to minimize the use of man-made boards.

I produce high quality furniture by commission and have sold work at the prestigious Millinery Works Show "The Arts and Crafts Legacy" alongside some of the country's top furniture makers.

My contemporary designs are often geometric with clean lines to emphasise the contrasting materials whether it be solid timber, veneer, glass or steel. My work is produced to exacting standards with attention to detail being something I will not compromise on. The challenge of combining sound construction techniques with exciting and inspiring designs is what I strive to achieve for my clients."
